Partnering with schools to bring battery collection boxes to their students

Creating posters and art to diffuse around the neighborhood
Activities at Carnegie Vanguard HS, Bellaire HS, and Dragon Academy
We are raising awareness about battery waste and promoting battery recycling with fliers and announcements at these locations, in addition to continuing to collect batteries at CVHS, BHS, and Dragon Academy.

Green Gen Alliance fundraised by selling home grown aloe vera plants.

GGA Fundraising event @ Roberts Elementary
Green Gen Alliance leaders sold fruit and ice cream at the local Lunar New Year festival to fundraise for the GGA website. The ice cream sold out, and GGA earned enough profit to support the website for a couple months.

GGA Battery Collection @ Roberts Elementary
Green Gen Alliance collected batteries at the Roberts International Festival at Roberts Elementary. Prior to the event, they informed community member that GGA would be collecting batteries
